    Calling all Professional Services Marketers!
    SMPS Northern New England is thrilled to announce that our marketing bootcamp (originally scheduled for March 2020) has been reimagined for our current virtual world. The goal remains the same: to provide educational programming centered around the Domains of Practice for Professional Services Marketing from four of our chapter’s own Certified Professional Services Marketers (CPSMs). Instead of a full day of programming, we will offer the bootcamp in four, one-hour lunchtime sessions via Zoom on July 15, July 22, July 29, and August 5. If you are a junior- to mid-level marketer, don't miss this opportunity to enhance your skills and take your career to the next level!

    Due to the new format, registrants can choose to sign up for the full program (all four courses), or individual courses. Both options are provided below. Those that register for the full program will be invited to join us in the 2020-2021 program year for a reception that will include opening remarks from Yellow Light Breen, President & CEO of Maine Development Foundation and a career panel with our chapter CPSMs, followed by a cocktail/networking hour.  *Please note: If you were previously registered for this program, you will automatically be enrolled in all four sessions. Sessions will be recorded and a link will be sent to registrants should you not be able to attend at the new date or time. 

    Session #2: How to Lead a SWOT Analysis & Turn it into an Actionable Plan
    You’ve probably heard of a SWOT Analysis, and you’ve maybe even participated in one … but this session will walk you through how and why to uncover your firm’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and then give you practical applications for how to use the analysis to feed your strategy. If your firm has never done a SWOT Analysis, this will help give you the tools to be able to facilitate one, putting you in the driver’s seat during the critical process of strategic planning!

    Jen has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications. She is responsible for directing Woodard & Curran's strategic marketing efforts, including proposals, branding, event management, market research and content marketing.
