As changes to the uses in traditional industrial space accelerates, access and availability to these spaces across Greater Portland and Maine is tightening.  Once plentiful industrial and warehouse spaces have largely been converted to office and commercial uses like restaurants and bars, while our world-renowned breweries have created substantial demand for brew-ready industrial space. With traditional industrial needs growing, and options shrinking, business owners need to get creative. Throwing a curveball into these already notable challenges? The change in cannabis regulation in the state of Maine, which means marijuana grow entities are now also competing for the same, very limited, space. What does all of this mean for the future of Maine’s premier food, beer, and traditional manufacturing, and how can the A/E/C industry prepare for potential changes in how industrial space is developed and utilized?

Join us to learn more from our panel of experts to learn what the future holds for investment and development of new industrial spaces in our region. Moderated by Maine’s leading industrial broker, Justin Lamontagne, the panel brings together diverse perspectives from all areas of this timely conversation. A networking happy hour will follow the panel. Light refreshments and drinks will be served.
